The first meeting in 2015 was on January 20th and we gathered flannel for baby quilts for the hospital in Price, Utah, They have a great need. Also we worked on the hospital dolls for the Logan Regional and Specialty hospitals in Logan, Utah. We have delivered 14 already, collected 38 more today and have others still coming in from what ladies have taken home to work on. Thank you so much for these. They hospital was so grateful. And one of our members said they saw one in use recently. Wonderful !

 

Fractured quilt challenge "after" pics

Here are two of the "after" pics. One is Jean's and one is Rose's. Everyone seemed happy and now to finish it however you like and enjoy. I did appreciate the process and learinng something new, but did stress a lot during this one. Thank you Jean for the extra help.

The beginning

So this year, Jean Stewart got us excited about a "fractured quilt" project. All 9 ladies that signed up, created their own poster sized rendition of the Arches National Park poster. Most were apliqued and some were even painted. Then we cut all 9 into equal parts and mixed them up and put them back together for the "fractured" look. This picture is before and I will post after pics soon.
